Steve Harding-Hill
Directors
Steve is the Creative Director across Aardman’s Commercials and Short Form work and is a Bafta nominated director with over 30 years’ directing experience. Working across multiple techniques: stop-frame, CGI, pixelation and 2D animation, he has directed films for international brands, including BBC, Change 4 Life, Hovis, Serta, Nike Footlocker, Swedbank, Maynards Wine Gums, Myer, Ritz Crackers and DFS to name a few.
Other notable work includes directing the short film ‘The Bear & the Squirrel’, a 4D cinema experience for Efteling in The Netherlands – Aardman’s first piece of original content for the theme park market. This film has since been licenced around the world and has been playing at the New York Central Park Zoo since 2022.
Strong on humour and performance his most recent project is the award-winning Christmas campaign for the UK clothes brand Barbour, utilising our brand IP Shaun the Sheep and more recently Wallace and Gromit.
